Dark Souls 2: Studying Stamina Recovery

Alright I went a little overboard on this one and there was no way I could fill up almost 30 minutes of video with me talking when the majority of this video is pretty self explanatory with what you can see. I apologize for the length, I start with showing both tests as I tested everything twice but realized the video was going to be way too long that way so I cut them done to only showing the 1st or 2nd result, depending if there was an error in the 1st.

Some key notes:

  • Stamina shields DO stack with the Chloranthy ring, although it's only about 2-3% more than the ring alone.
  • Green Blossom stacks with everything
  • Upgrading your stamina shield does not increase it's stamina recovery
  • Stamina shields recover stamina about 5% faster
  • Green blossom seems to recover at around 13-15% faster
  • Chloranthy ring + 2 seems to recover at around 20% faster, as apposed to the 8.5% stated on the wiki (might be from the guide?)
  • Chloranthy ring + 2 and green blossom recover at almost 30% faster
  • Stamina shields and green blossom recover at about 17% faster
  • Using a stamina recovery shield while blocking does not increase the stamina recovery speed
There is some pictures at the very end (timestamps in the video description) to show you the difference in distance of a roll and backstep depending on your weight load as well.
